ZINE x NATURE is an ongoing advocacy project that uses original poetry and guerilla artwork to fight climate change. The project aims to connect individuals with environmental issues and to allow students and youth, especially those from low-income and minority backgrounds, to engage creatively with environmental issues around them. ZINE x NATURE includes not only zines (mini-magazines) I've personally made, but zine workshops held for elementary and middle-school students and a digital zine-making website that reaches students around the world.
The blog for ZINE x NATURE project encourages future zine-makers to create their own community zines, host workshops, and engage creatively with the environment.
